Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massages

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), relieves swelling that occurs when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. MLD involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.

Deep Tissue Massage

Is this treatment for you? Yes, if you are experiencing chronic muscle tension, knots and soreness. Slow, deep strokes with focused direct pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscle to release tension of the deep myofascial muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body. Using techniques such as Neuro-Muscular Techniques (NMT) including Trigger Point Therapy as well as breath and movement are also incorporated. Can be specifically tailored to individual needs.

Pressotherapy Lymphatic Massage

Pressotherapy is a non-invasive medical and beauty treatment that promotes lymphatic drainage. Pressotherapy is similar to a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD), however rather than carried out manually by a trained Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist by hand, pressure is applied with a specialised computer controlled pressotherapy device. This provides an alternative method to MLD treating the whole body in turn simultaneously in one session. This device applies air pressure to individual sections of a special multi-chambered garment, alternating between compression and decompression on parts of the body (legs, stomach and arms). This enhances extra-cellular fluid clearance, in helping to stimulate the lymphatic system which helps to clear toxins from the body and stimulate blood circulation.

Sports Massage

Is this treatment for you? Yes, if you are an athlete, runner or engage in sporting activities which requires your physical and mental strength to perform at its optimal level. The use of massage for the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries is referred to as a Sports Massage. It can be incorporated into a training programme as a warm-up and cool-down for an event to assist in preventing injury and aid in the rehabilitation process.

An effective and great alternative to invasive surgery. Combining cavitation with radio frequency helps to tighten, tone and lift the skin.

Pregnancy Massage

Is this treatment for you? Yes, if you are experiencing muscle aches and pain, swelling and fatigue or just the simple need to relax and enjoy your pregnancy and subsequent birth. Having a massage during pregnancy is a safe and beautiful experience for women in their second or third trimester, or have recently given birth. It provides a level of relaxation which is often desired by mothers-to-be but is usually quite challenging to attain with the demands pregnancy can have on a woman’s body.
